Camp Hill Cemetery: Flora and Fauna or Life after Death

Christopher Majka, ecologist and natural historian, leads a guided walk through the Camp Hill Graveyard to explore the flora and fauna of this corner of the Common. Plants, animals, bird, bugs, and the mysterious glowworm were all encountered in this ecological exploration.

Imagine that there is a link between the Napoleonic wars and the urban wildlife of Halifax, and or to ancient origins in the mountains of the Middle East.  The walk begins at the Summer Street entrance to Camp Hill Cemetery at the corner of Sackville Street.
